Extensive reporting facilities

An extensive array of reports is predefined and full drill down capability has been implemented. All information for a firm’s trainee is stored centrally on one server making firm-wide reporting and monitoring very easy (both regionally and nationally). The access and distribution of this is controlled by the Training Officer and/or their administrative support staff.

Safe and secure data

Physical security and access restriction is provided by Internet Solutions. In the more than 10 years of service LTS has had no security breaches. Username and Password security restricts access to the system itself.

The following best practices are in place:

  • Data validation
    All data validation is done server side. Only non-sensitive information/data may be validated on client side using JavaScript.
  • Server management
    All ftp connections to servers is done via secure connections.
  • Server connection
    All connections to the server are made via a secure network.
  • Secure workstations
    Firewalled and maintained workstations connecting to the server are rigorously controlled.
  • Backups
    All data backups are outsourced using Internet Solutions providing the Attix backup software. Backups are also made on-site.
  • Firewall
    The external firewall solution is also provided by Internet Solutions.
  • Updates
    All server software (Windows Server, SQL Server etc.) are updated on a weekly base.
